Benefits Specialist Full Time

Fit is seeking a Benefits Specialist who will be responsible for the administration of benefits for participating clients. Pay is up to $40K depending on experience plus company benefits, 401K and PTO.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client benefits including eligibility, enrollments, terminations, reconciling monthly benefit invoices, contacting clients about their renewals, and maintaining employee and client records
• Electronic 401k submissions
• Generating open enrollment notices
• 401k Eligibility, Loan Processing and Set Up
• Managing benefit deductions
• Auditing terminated employees benefits for final deductions
• Work closely with Payroll and Accounting on all benefit related issues
• Research and resolve questions from managers and employees regarding benefit deductions, eligibility and enrollments.
• Maintain knowledge of all Benefits software
• Maintain knowledge of all PEO services to assist clients with general inquiries
• Ensure that the highest quality level of customer service is provided to clients and employees
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, co-workers & other departments

Qualifications:

• Experience handling employee benefits, invoice and/or benefit reconciliations
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
• Must be detail oriented
• Able to adhere to tight deadlines
• High School diploma required
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word and Excel
• Able to handle highly confidential information
