Project Architect Full Time

Fit is assisting an architecture firm in Fairhope, Alabama in their search for a new Project Architect to join its growing team. We are looking for highly motivated applicants who can multitask and work independently on projects from the conceptual design phase through construction administration. Interested candidates should be licensed, or interested in pursuing a license. Salary ranges from $60,000 – $80,000 depending on experience.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Five (5) year Bachelor of Architecture degree or Six (6) year Master’s Degree from NAAB accredited school.
• Experience: Five (5) years’ job-related practice.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Architect preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include all phases of design and documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact.
• Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Should possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills.
• Should be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner.
• Should be proficient in technical drawing and detailing. 3D modeling software skills also preferred.
• Should posses and be able to demonstrate design creativity and talent
• Should be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
